The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Harrah’s Casino is a ground-up gaming and entertainment venue located in Perkins, Oklahoma operated by Caesars Entertainment. The overall design aims to create a cohesive environment that seamlessly blends the needs of public-facing entertainment spaces with efficient and secure back-of-house operations. Service functions have been designed to be concealed from public view but efficiently connected through carefully-planned adjacencies in order to support operational reqyurements. The 48,500 square feet of the 114,090 overall square footage will be dedicated to the casino floor, housing 1,000 gaming machines and 12 table games. The layout of the casino floor prioritizes a flexible open plan as well as ease of circulation and wayfinding.The Design focuses on warm earth tone and natural materials, paying homage to the Oklahoma vernacular. Exterior aesthetics are contemporary to reflect Harrah’s brand standard. Provision for seamless connection to the future Phase II Hotel Expansion, both in terms of configuration and aesthetics, has been put in place. The interior design continues clean-line yet dynamic spirit of the architecture into the spatially-engaging venues with key elements including Center Bar and Restaurant Bar strategically located to activate the areas. Space Planning has considered and made preparation for multiple potential future expansions for both the aesthetics and logistics of transition with minimized impact or disruption. Minimalistic yet impactful use of geometric motifs along with playful lighting, and elements of surprise yield a rich, textural space for an immersive experience whilst strongly delivering the contemporary aesthetic in line with the Harrah’s branding. The Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma Harrah’s Casino will be a new exciting addition to the Entertainment and Hospitality venues to the region with the spirit of the design in tuned with the proud Tribal heritage, the Oklahoma aesthetics, and the Harrah’s brand.
