The Peter Lik Gallery Houston is designed as a showcase for the renowned photographer’s vivid scenes of nature. In keeping with the photographer’s preferences, backdrops for art installations consist of neutral materials, while other material such as natural wood tones and concrete paneling reflect the power of natural materials maintaining a focus on the art. Lighting, which is key to viewing the specially printed photographic pieces, was held to an exacting standard of control.
