The Opportunity Village non-profit organization provides a wide range of educational and care services for individuals with special needs. The North Campus Concept conceives of a new facility, giving OV the ability to expand and enhance its services. All of the various components of the main building tie in to a central circulation spine, including outdoor spaces providing indoor-outdoor programming opportunities and allow natural light into indoor program and circulation spaces. Programmatic highlights include display spaces for client artwork, an indoor-outdoor lunch room, and the employment resource center which focuses on vocational training. The main building sits in a park-like setting with a connection to a public park and a residential village.
