LVMPD Summerlin Area Command

LVMPD Summerlin Area Command

A police Area Command is a cornerstone of any strong community. The Summerlin Area Command will increase the relationship with the community and proximity from between the community and surrounding police substations, which are beneficial to the community, Summerlin and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

The substation is based off the prototype that has been constructed at several locations throughout the Las Vegas valley. The Summerlin Area Command is in a growing area of Summerlin on Carriage Hills near Far Hills and the 215 Beltway. The site is designed with well-defined public access through the parking area to the public entrance and secure access for department staff and officers. The exterior of the substation is designed to aesthetically blend in with the surrounding desert and Summerlin Communities through use of materials and colors.
