IBEW Union Hall

IBEW Union Hall

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Union Hall is structured around a multitude of needs to serve its staff, officers and members. Designed for flexibility, meeting and training spaces can combine into a large hall for member meetings and events. The centralization of key office functions serves functional needs such as daily dispatch, financial transactions and member services with a focus on controlled access and internal efficiency. The building is designed as a showcase of the union’s pride in their trade, most exemplified by an intentionally showcased solar generation system including panels on the exterior and an inverter and digital readout in the lobby. Inspired by the motion of electricity, interior and exterior lighting features expressed in a signature blue color further the Union Hall’s sense of purpose.
