Desert Valley Academy

Desert Valley Academy

The Desert Valley Academy Master Plan is a vision for a new religious college on 100 acres in Overton, Nevada. The building designs on the campus reflect a contemporary take on materials and forms often associated with traditional or historical college campuses. Brick and stone facades and a traditional central clock tower echo the past, while glazed facades at entries and special program areas combine with a mix of flat and angled rooflines to provide a modern expression. The campus arrangement is focused on flow of students from one area to another. A particular emphasis is placed on outdoor spaces for student activities, including an amphitheater, open lawns and desert gardens near dormitories and other featured campus buildings.
