The Grand Hotel remodel was first conceptualized as part of the production of a long-term master plan to upgrade, update and reposition the Coushatta casino and hotel complex. The Grand Hotel remodel occurred in three stages – a remodel of 208 hotel rooms and associated corridors, a remodel and reorganization of the ground-level common spaces, and a redesign of the exterior building envelope. The results are a highly upgraded user experience and a restoration of the Grand Hotel as the premier lodging option on the Coushatta property. Future plans under design as a part of the master plan include a high-end casino associated with the Grand, a lobby bar, spa and retail store, and a family entertainment center and casino upgrades associated with other portions of the property.
