As Director of Interior Design, Chelsea Lavell provides creative and management leadership for a highly specialized team of interiors professionals. As a creative conceptual thinker, Chelsea leads the KGA interiors team in testing the boundaries of the common with the goal of exploring fresh possibilities to provide exciting, beautiful and atmospheric design solutions tailored to each client’s needs, image and budget.
Chelsea and her interior design team provide services including the design, selection and specification of interior details and specialty fixtures, finish materials, custom carpet and millwork and selection and specification of art, accessories and furniture. As a manager and project leader, her focus is on implementing an exacting coordination of the interior design with architectural and consultant disciplines, resulting in thorough documentation, responsive construction administration, and a final product that carries forward the intent of the conceptual vision. Chelsea’s penchant for coordination stems from a belief that interior design and architecture should be holistically integrated throughout the design process because they are two expressions of the same art.
