Brian Henley, in his role as Director of Design, specializes in the architectural design aspects of KGA’s work. He leads a team of professionals focused on programming, site analysis, conceptual and schematic building design, and land use entitlements, developing a project from an initial vision into a concrete and well documented design. Brian revels in the opportunity to work in diverse project types and contexts. He holds a strong belief that every project is unique and deserves a one-of-a-kind design solution which reflects the needs and identities of its clients, its users, and its community.
Brian and the firm’s architectural design team are charged above all else with working with clients to establish the vision that guides each project. This vision is translated into a conceptual design solution, rooted in the commonalities between a project’s functional needs and the singular opportunities for aesthetic and artistic expression that it presents. Brian and the design team are a part of the project throughout its life, working to develop the scheme in detail and bring to fruition a built work that reflects the vision and goals established at the conceptual stage.
