The Black Oak Casino takes its inspiration from the nature in the region and the history of the Tuolomne Bank of Me-Wuk Indians. Details and patterns on the exterior were interpreted from Me-Wuk basket patterns, while cables were abstracted from Me-Wuk headbands made with feathers from woodpeckers.
